OUR CONSIGNMENT PROCESS
- Contact Us – Send us photos of the item(s) you wish to consign for an initial review. (See Photo Submission Guide below)

Drop Off or Ship –
▪️ Local clients can schedule a drop-off appointment.
▪️ Non-local clients are welcome to ship their bags to us (shipping cost paid by the customer). - Authentication & Listing – Once we receive your items, we authenticate them using Entrupy AI Technology and create professional listings with high-quality photos and engaging descriptions. We only accept authentic items. Those that fail the authentication process will be returned to the customer at a fee.
- We Sell It for You – We promote your item across our platforms and partner networks.
- You Get Paid – Once your item sells, we send your payout within 5-10 business days.
PRICING MENU
Intake & Authentication Fee:
$27 per bag with exception to Hermès. Hermès brands are $119 per bag (Due upon intake and non-refundable)
Includes:
- Professional authentication
- Multi-point inspection
- Intake processing, tagging, and cataloging
Listing & Marketing Fee:
$8 per bag (Due upon intake and non-refundable)
Includes:
- Listing on multiple selling platforms
- Professional photos
- Live-stream feature & promotion
Storage Fee:
- Free for the first 60 days
- $5 per bag per month after 60 days (we recommend consigning for a minimum of 2 months)
Return / Handling Fee (if unsold or unable to authenticate):
$29 for the first bag plus $10 for each additional bag. There is an additional cost if you choose to insure the package. Insurance price varies depending on the value of the item(s).
Charged only if you choose to retrieve the item after the consignment period or if the item fails the authentication process.
Commission Rates (when item sells):
We offer one of the most competitive consignment rates in today’s market:
30% commission on the final sale price. That means you keep 70% of what your bag sells for — no hidden fees, no surprises. Other places charge a much larger split and typically take the bigger chunk. They also charge in tiers, while we at Southern Couture charge a simple 30% rate per bag across the board.
Consignment Period:
- Standard term: 60 days
- Extension available upon request (see Storage Fee for cost)
PHOTO SUBMISSION GUIDE
To begin the consignment process, please email clear, high-quality photos of your bag(s) to southerncouturetx@gmail.com. These images help us authenticate, evaluate, and present your item professionally to potential buyers.
Include the Brand/model of the bag, and any relevant details (e.g., receipt, dust bag, box, etc., if included)
Steps 1-5 are required, and 6-10 are optional:

Interior – showing the lining and condition clearly

Zippers, hardware & closures – to show condition and branding

Any flaws or signs of wear – (e.g., scuffs, stains, scratches)
- Brand/model of the bag, and any relevant details (e.g., original purchase info, dust bag, box, etc.)
